With last week's passing of Michael Jackson I am thinking of a collaboration
with one of the Beatles that was the most stunningly mediocre portion of a
masterpiece. It was like Godfather III.

I am talking about of course, "The Girl is Mine"

and *Leonardo <http://www.mos.org/leonardo/>*da

their talents and designed a storage unit. *

*The writing of both the music and lyrics is lazy and uninteresting. What is
amazing is that the song reached number 2 on the billboard charts and sold
over a million copies. *
*
*
*Both Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney are geniuses. *

***People stop me on the street and ask me about my favorite Beatles song to
which I have a standard answer. There is quite a bit of Michael Jackson's
music with both the Jackson 5 and as a solo artist that is good but I have
never thought, you know I have not heard, "The Girl is Mine" in a while. *

*
*The album Thriller is a stunning masterpiece/landmark but its first single
is a monument to the ordinary and mundane. *
